SEPTEMBER 25-27, 2017

This Summit brings business leaders together from across the world for three days. Participants will work interactively to apply regenerative principles to their business and will form new alliances to transform their industries through innovative disruption.

Sept 25th, 2017 | 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

The Summit will open with an awards dinner, to honor the Regenerative Business Prize honoree, and six finalists. This evening will serve as an introduction to fundamentals of regenerative business, and will offer excellent networking opportunities in a celebratory environment.

September 26th, 2017 | 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The day begins with breakfast and a plenary “fishbowl”, in which Carol Sanford will engage a business on stage in a regenerative self-assessment.

A breakout “fishbowl” session will follow, grouping participants by the value-adding business stream in which their business lives: fooding, sheltering, transacting, adoring, recreating, communing. In these breakouts—as in the plenary—businesses at the center of each fishbowl will engage in regenerative inquiry with a member of the Regenerative Business Alliance. Fellow participants in their value-adding business stream will learn from their example.

After a networking lunch, participants will experience a second plenary. Another business will work through the regenerative principles on stage with Carol Sanford. A second breakout “fishbowl” will follow. You will have the option to explore a new value-adding business stream in this breakout, or dive deeper into the one you began with a new group.

Please note: you will have the opportunity to place your business at the center of a plenary or breakout “fishbowl” when you register for the Summit. (Subject to availability)

Optional: We’ll select a restaurant as a meeting spot for those who’d like to keep talking over dinner on Tuesday night. (This meal is not included in registration.)

September 27th, 2017 | 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

The last day begins with breakfast and one last interactive plenary. Then, through participatory reflection, each participant will uncover key directions they intend to pursue coming out of the Summit with an emphasis on business initiatives for regenerative change.

The Summit will end with important shifts in thinking, and new alliances to support regenerative work into the future.

Carol Sanford uniquely understands how to develop more conscious, creative, innovative, and intentional human beings. Her work contributed to exponentially increasing the value of my company and perhaps most important, helped us discover that work can be deeply fulfilling in ways that feed your soul.

Jeffrey Hollender, Founder & CEO, Founder, Founding CEO Seventh Generation

Carol advocates for a vision of firms as cradles of human development, supporting their employees through journeys of discovery that focus on the lived experience of the customer. Her work points the way to building authentically purpose driven firms that will drive the kind of disruption that my own research suggests is likely to be catalysts in reimagining capitalism and to a way of being in the world that is simultaneously deeply pragmatic and an expression of transformative hope.

Rebecca M. Henderson, John and Natty McArthur University Professor, Harvard Business School

Carol has already influenced my own thinking and that of Kauffman leaders and we are partnering with her for more evolution in entrepreneurship and education to great ends. It’s just what the world needs to transform our fractured and fragmented workplace culture into a healthy, regenerative whole system. You will see why I so strongly recommend this work.

Mark Beam, Maverick in Residence Kauffman Foundation
